AVG I have had nothing but trouble with my Nortons Antivirus so I am downloading AVG free scanner. Do I have to uninstall my Nortons or just disable it? I have until May of this year on my subscription.
So far all of the answers have been very helpful. I am just waiting for the download to finish and then I will get rid of Nortons!~ It has been a hassle since the start.

just uninstall completely norton. Your computer will run endlessly faster without it not to mention it will reduce chance of conflict between the 2 programs..just consider your money spent on the subcription a sunk cost. dont hold onto it just because you want your moneys worth..
