Antivirus Now

I have Mcafee on my computer, for the firewall, antivirus, ect. However, since some viruses can be invisible to mcafee, I also installed AVG anti-virus free just for scanning, to catch anything that might get through. Since AVG free doesn’t have a firewall, will the two interfere with each other? Thanks in advanced!
