How do I activate AVG Internet Security through AVG Free?

Alright well I have AVG Free, and I now have the serial number for AVG Internet Security. I can’t figure out where to put the serial though to update my free version to the pay version.

I wouldn’t recommend using AVG. It’s pathetic. Use Kaspersky Internet Security

   if you have the free version,avg did it for you while you installed the program.the free serial number won’t work with the paid version
