Sometimes it is hard to find the free download on a site as there are soo many ads to sell this or that.

I usually do a search, example: free AVG

Then I look for a download from ‘www.download.com’ as it is safe, legitimate, run by CNET.

Here is the link I found from my search:

    http://download.cnet.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-Free-Edition/3000-2239_4-10320142.html

The download is just under the title for AVG

Go to CNET at http://www.download.com to get the free version of AVG.When installing, make sure that you choose to use the program for free.
