They have a free version and it’s excellent.
Download and install SUPER, update it, do a full system scan and quarantine what it finds.
Then do a quick scan with SUPER on a regular basis.
Be aware that MalwareBytes (as recommended above) is basically a removal tool for the toughest-to-remove crap…its not a good all-purpose solution.
Um. You should try spybot S&D, it should work with AVG and offers real-time security for free.
You could try Spyware doctor from http://pack.google.com, but you would have to turn its antivirus module off.
