where can i go to get a free avg antivirus download?

every site i go to that says i can download avg for free ends up asking me to purchase. does someone know the link i need to go to to get the free version?

    But i wouldnt recommend AVG its a serious system hog and has a log of problams updating, i would suggest Avira AntiVir free edition, it has fantastic detection rates and wont slow your system down.
