Antivirus Now

will i lose my avg antivirus if i custom upgrade to windows 7?

im upgrading to windows 7 from windows vista and i prefer to do a custom clean upgrade. it wipes everything. so how do i reinstall my avg antivirus that i purchased online?

I suppose you still have a copy of the product or license key for your AVG antivirus. You can reinstall AVG later and use the same product key to reactivate it. It’s not going to extend its validity though. The time left on your subscription will be the same.

   you can either do it the hard way (which requires an advanced knowledge in registry editing and whatnot)

   or just go on the internet and download the free version.

   or do what Simply Red said.
